Spinal Cord Injury

Major Parts of Brain
The brain is composed of three major parts: the Midbrain , forebrain, and hindbrain. Therefore brain contain  cerebrum, thalamus, and hypothalamus . The midbrain consists of the tectum and tegmentum. The hindbrain is made of the cerebellum , medulla and pons.

What is the Function of the Brain?
The main functions of the brainstem include: relaying information between the brain and the body parts ; supplying some of the cranial nerves to the head and face; and performing critical functions in controlling the breathing and heart.
The five main functions are given below:
Memory and the ability to learn.
Social interaction.
Emotion and feelings.

How Brain work?
Our brain consist billions of nerve cells which are arranged in patterns that coordinate thought, emotion, sensation and movement. A complicated highway system of nerves connects your brain to all of your body, so communication can occur in split seconds.

Which part control thinking?
The cerebrum is the large, outer part of the brain, controls thinking ,reading, learning, speech, emotions and also muscle movements like walking ,running. It also controls hearing , hearing and other all senses of our body.

 Spinal Cord Injury
spinal cord injury begins with a sudden, traumatic blow to the spine that fractures vertebrae. The damage starts at the moment of injury when displaced bone disc material ,fragments, ligaments bruise into spinal cord tissues.
